KEARNEY, NE. – The Tri-City Storm’s schedule for the 2022 Western Conference Semifinal series against the Omaha Lancers has been set. Tri-City will host the opening game of the best-of-three series Saturday night at the Viaero Center in Kearney. The Storm will also host the third game of the series on Tuesday, if necessary. Puck drop for the Storm’s home games in the Western Conference Semifinals playoff round is set for 7:05pm CT. Tickets to Games #1 and #3 at the Viaero Center will go on sale tomorrow at 10am CT. Tickets may be purchased online at www.StormHockey.com, or by calling the Viaero Center Box Office at 308-338-8144. The Storm’s playoff ticket package will also be available to purchase until midnight tomorrow. Rally towels will be given to the first 2,000 fans who attend Saturday’s home playoff game.
The Storm will open postseason play Saturday night at the Viaero Center in Game #1 of the Western Conference Semifinal round of the 2022 Clark Cup Playoffs. Puck drop for Saturday’s home game in Kearney is scheduled for 7:05pm CT. Tri-City will travel to face Omaha at the Liberty First Credit Union Arena on Sunday in Game #2. Sunday’s road game in Ralston will begin at 4:05pm CT. Game #3, if necessary, will be hosted by the Storm at the Viaero Center on Tuesday, and will start at 7:05pm CT.
Single-game ticket prices for the Western Conference Semifinal will be $13 for Rows 2-13, and $18 for Glass seats. If the Storm reaches the Western Conference Final round of the postseason, single-game ticket prices will be $15 for Rows 2-13, and $20 for Glass seats. If Tri-City advances to the 2022 Clark Cup Final, individual game tickets for Rows 2-13 will be $17, and Glass seats will be $22. Kids ticket pricing is only available through the Storm’s Playoff Ticket Package.
The Tri-City Storm’s Playoff Ticket Package for the 2022 Clark Cup Playoffs will remain on sale until midnight tomorrow. Purchasing a package will guarantee fans the opportunity to sit in the same seat for each of the Storm’s home games during the postseason. The Playoff ticket package prices are Glass: $60; Adults: $40; and Kids: $20. The Storm could potentially play up to eight home games during the 2022 Clark Cup Playoffs.
Tri-City received a first-round bye through the opening round of the postseason as a result of finishing as one of the top two teams in the Western Conference during the regular season. The Storm captured the 2021-2022 Anderson Cup Championship title as the top team in the league standings in the regular season. Tri-City is the first seed in the postseason, and will have home-ice advantage throughout the 2022 Clark Cup Playoffs. The Storm broke more than twenty team records, and finished the 2021-2022 regular season 47-11-3-1, the best record in organizational history.
