Storm hire Wilson Housley as Assistant Coach

Housley previously served as Head Coach for Thief River Falls (SIJHL)

Kearney, NE. – The Tri-City Storm has hired Wilson Housley as an Assistant Coach ahead of the 2020-2021 season. Housley joins the Storm organization after serving as the Head Coach for the Thief River Falls Norskies of the Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL).


Wilson Housley, 28, of Stillwater, Minnesota served as the Head Coach for the Thief River Falls Norskies during the 2018-2019 & 2019-2020 seasons. At the helm of the Norskies, Housley led the team to a combined regular season record of 61-41-7-1. Prior to coaching Thief River Falls, Housley graduated from Arizona State University where he played hockey for their ACHA club team. Prior to playing at Arizona State, Housley’s junior hockey career included games with the Wisconsin Wilderness (SIJHL), Chicago Hitman (NAHL), and Minot Minotauros (NAHL). Housley was the Captain for his 2009-2010 Stillwater High School team in Stillwater, Minnesota.
