Storm also acquire 2022 Draft Pick in Transaction

Kearney, NE. – The Tri-City Storm has acquired forward Sutter Muzzatti and a 2022 8th Round Phase I Draft Pick from the Muskegon Lumberjacks in exchange for a 2021 7th Round Phase II Draft Pick and a 2022 6th Round Phase I Draft Pick. Muzzatti was drafted by Muskegon 45th overall in the 3rd Round of the 2019 USHL Phase I Draft and appeared in two games as an affiliate list call-up for the Lumberjacks during the 2019-2020 season.

Sutter Muzzatti, 17, of Okemos, Michigan, appeared in forty-three games last season for the Meijer AAA Hockey program in Oshtemo, Michigan. Muzzatti split time with the U16 and the U18 teams in the Meijer AAA program. In total, he netted thirty-nine goals and recorded twenty-one assists during the 2019-2020 season. Muzzatti appeared in two games as an affiliate list call-up for the Lumberjacks during a home series against the Green Bay Gamblers in November. On November 8th, 2019, Muzzatti made his USHL debut for the Lumberjacks in the teams’ 5-1 home loss to Green Bay. Prior to his time with the Meijer AAA program, Muzzatti also skated for the Honeybaked AAA program in Detroit, Michigan.

"We've had a chance to see Sutter play the last two seasons at the U15, U16, and U18 AAA levels coming out of the central area of Michigan. We feel he's someone that maybe is a little under the radar in the great state of hockey in Michigan and we think that there is a very attractive big bodied power centerman and power forward that's trending upward and only getting better. He's big, rangy, and growing into his body, he protects the puck well for his age, he's responsible defensively and solid on face-offs, and also has a heavy accurate shot. There's a lot to be excited about with Sutter and we see a bright future with him in our organization." General Manager Jason Koehler
