“I felt that Mercyhurst was the best fit for me because of the coaching staff, their plans for the future, and their top-notch facilities. I hope to be a part of the group that wins an Atlantic Hockey Championship and gets this program a bid in the NCAA Tournament. I have great trust in the coaches, and I’m really looking forward to the challenge of Division I college hockey. I want to thank Mr. Kirk Brooks, Mr. Steve Lowe, the entire coaching staff, my billets, and my teammates for their support in helping me achieve this goal.” Khristian Acosta
“Our staff and organization couldn’t be any prouder, and happier than we are right now for Khristian and his family. Earning a college commitment was his goal for this year, and it’s one of the better success stories in the USHL. He has made incredible strides this year on and off the ice, and we wish him well next season at Mercyhurst University.” - GM/Head Coach Anthony Noreen
