  • The 2017 Michigan Mr. Hockey Award winner was a high Storm draft pick and brings scoring touch.

Before the Storm:

  • 2016-17: Michigan High School State Champion, named Michigan’s Mr. Hockey and listed on U.S. High School’s All-Hockey Second Team. Was an Assistant Captain and topped Brighton High School with 30 goals and 59 points in 31 games (21 more points than any other Brighton player). Achieved multi-goal contests seven times, including two hat tricks. Had multiple points in 19 games. Scored a goal in the state title game against Catholic Central.
  • 2015-16: Scored 20 goals and 38 points in 24 games for Brighton, helping lead the team to the state championship game, a loss to Catholic Central.
  • 2012-15: Played three seasons with the Belle Tire Program in suburban Detroit.


  • After his sophomore year at Brighton High School, contemplated leaving Belle Tire’s AAA hockey program and quitting altogether. Brighton assistant coach Kurt Kivisto asked him to join the high school team to have fun.
  • Said of Michigan’s 2017 Mr. Hockey trophy “It’s a big block of wood with a hockey player on top.”
