- Tall and young, Barczewski already has a season of junior hockey under his belt and comes to Tri-City for his first USHL campaign.
Before the Storm:
- 2016-17: Won Janesville’s (NAHL) Rookie of the Year award in his first junior hockey campaign. Went 27-6-0-1, was 3rd in the league in goals against average (1.94) and second in save percentage (.929). Also tacked on two shutouts. In the Robertson Cup Playoffs, accumulated a 6-2-0-1 record, 1.82 goals against average and .932 save percentage. Won at least seven straight decisions on three different occasions, including a season high nine-game winning streak from December 3 – January 14. From November 26 to March 17, did not register a loss in 17 games (16-0-0-0 record, .933 save percentage). In mid-March, boasted a 25-2-0-0 record. Recorded a shutout in his first NAHL game, stopping 14 pucks in a win over the Northeast Generals. Attended USA Select 17s camp.
- 2013-16: Played three seasons with the St. Louis AAA Blues, skating with the Bantom Major, U16 and U18 clubs. Boasted a 1.99 goals against average with the U16 club in 2014-15 and 1.92 GAA with the Bantom Major team in 2013-14. Had a 3.32 goals against average in 2015-16 with the U18s.
