Print your rosters for Week 19:
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Tri-City Storm announced officially Thursday afternoon that the team has traded defensemen Tyler Amburgey and Desmond Bergin to the Dubuque Fighting Saints for prospect D Garrett Cecere and a swap in the 2012 USHL Futures Draft.

General Manager and Head Coach Josh Hauge made the announcement as the team was headed to Sioux City Thursday in preparation for their game against the Musketeers on Friday.

Cecere, who was a fifth round (73rd overall) pick in the 2011 USHL Futures Draft, will move to the Storm’s protected list, as he is playing this season for the Janesville Jets (NAHL). The West Des Moines, Iowa native has 20 points (6g, 14a) and a plus-9 rating in 36 games for the first-place MidWest Division – Jets. Cecere played for Shattuck St. Mary’s U16 team last season with fellow USHLer C Taylor Cammarata (Waterloo).

Amburgey leaves the Storm for the second time in his career and will play again with Dubuque, who he won a Clark Cup with last season. Bergin, who is currently injured, will likely join the Fighting Saints lineup upon his injury healing.

Tri-City (14-23-0, 28 pts – 7th in Western Conference) is now down to 22 players on the roster and will likely add another play in the next week.

The Storm will look to keep their momentum on the road this weekend, as they look to extend their current three-game winning streak in Sioux City (Friday) and Des Moines (Saturday). Tri-City is only one point out of a playoff spot and two points out of fifth place in the Western Conference.

Both games will be on The Breeze 94.5 FM with the Viaero Wireless Pre-Game Shows starting at 6:45 p.m. each night.
