The Storm have stretched the league lead in the USHL standings to five points, and currently hold a ten-point advantage over both Waterloo and Sioux Falls for the lead in the Western Conference standings. In Saturday’s defeat of Sioux City, this year’s Storm team became only the 2nd team in organization history to win 38 games in the regular season. The 2003-2004 Anderson Cup Championship team holds the all-time Storm record with 43 wins in the regular season. Following tonight’s “Pack it in Purple” home game, Tri-City will host rival Omaha tomorrow, and then will again play host to the Lincoln Stars for the final time this season on Tuesday night.
