Through three games, Benji Eckerle, Jake Crespi, and Ian Murphy have each scored two goals and are tied for the team lead. Keaton Pehrson has already tallied four assists on the season, and is tied with Eckerle for the team lead in points.

Des Moines (3-1) travels to Kearney tonight to faceoff against the Storm following a 4-2 home loss to the Lincoln Stars on Saturday night. The Bucs will host Lincoln tomorrow night at Buccaneer Arena in Urbandale, IA. Tonight’s game is the only game of the weekend for Tri-City. Des Moines defeated Madison 5-2, and Chicago 10-5 at the USHL Fall Classic to join the Storm as one of four teams in the league to win both games at the event. The Buccaneers picked up an additional victory in its home opener over Waterloo to improve to 3-0, before falling last weekend to Lincoln. Matt Brown leads the Bucs offense with five goals on the season and also is the team’s points leader with nine.
