Posted 56 days ago ago by Kendall Grayson

Kearney, Neb. – Tri-City improved to 2-0 at home and 3-1 overall last night with a 4-1 victory over the Omaha Lancers. The Storm can reach 1st place in the Western Conference tonight with a win over rival Lincoln and a Sioux Falls loss to Waterloo.

Opponent: Lincoln Stars

Game Time: 7:35 PM

Tickets: Online or Call 308-338-8144

Lincoln dropped their first of the season last night in 4-2 road loss to Cedar Rapids. Delvin McCabe, Casey Dornbach, and Gustaf Westlund have all scored multiple goals this season for the Stars. Tomas Vomacka has stated all 4 games in net and has recorded 124 saves on 132 shots.

Tri-City hits the ice searching for wins in back to back games at the Viaero Center. A 3-0 home start would mark the best home record from any team in the USHL. Ronnie Attard (1st), Joey Cipollone (2nd), and Adam Goodsir (3rd) were all named stars of the game in last night’s 4-1 win over Omaha.

Tonight is “Crosscheck Cancer” night at the Viaero Center. Last night, Tri-City skated to victory on ice with painted messages for loved ones who have been affected by cancer. The team will wear specialty jerseys for tonight’s contest, which will be auctioned off following the game.

“Crosscheck Cancer” is presented by Kearney Concrete. Tonight’s game will be the final game played this season on the painted ice at the Viaero Center.

The broadcast pre-game show will begin at 7:15 PM. Watch: HockeyTV Listen: The Breeze 94.5 FM.
