Andy Ogdahl accepts sales position with AHL's Iowa Wild

Kearney, Neb. – Tri-City Storm Vice President of Sales and Marketing Andy Ogdahl has accepted a front office role with the American Hockey League’s Iowa Wild. The 27-year-old will be the Wild’s new Director of Sales and Service, responsible for maintaining corporate sales and premium seating. Ogdahl started with the Storm in August 2015.

“I’d like to thank Storm Owner Mr. Kirk Brooks and all our internal staff members for making my two years with the team a fantastic experience,” said Ogdahl. “I’d also like to extend a warm thank you to the terrific fans that have helped fill the Viaero Center.”

Ogdahl says his favorite moments with the Storm were winning the 2016 Clark Cup in front of a sell-out crowd and the Tri-City winning USHL Organization of the Year in 2016.

 He is a native of Marshall, MN. The Iowa Wild are the top minor league affiliate of the Minnesota Wild.

“My dream job has always been to work with the Minnesota Wild and I’m excited to be a part of their farm system. I can’t wait to get started.”

Prior to working with Tri-City, Ogdahl was the Assistant General Manager of the Northwoods League’s Wilmar Stingers from 2014-15. Ogdahl is a St. Cloud State University graduate (class of 2012) that worked with the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves as a game presentation assistant in 2013-14.

Single-game tickets are on sale at the Viaero Center Box Office. Fans can purchase tickets to the first Storm preseason game, held Fri., Sept. 15 at 7:35 p.m. against Lincoln. Those that purchase a ticket to the home opener receive one free preseason ticket. Box Office hours are 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Tri-City opens the season on Oct. 6 at Omaha and plays its first home game, presented by Viaero Wireless, on Oct. 13 against Sioux City. The first 2,000 fans in attendance at the home opener will receive a Friday the 13th Jason mask. The first 500 fans will receive $2 off concessions.

Tri-City hosts 30 regular season games at the Viaero Center in 2017-18. Friday and Saturday home games begin at 7:35 p.m. Call 308-338-8144 for more information. Season tickets are on sale at
