Storm F Jensen makes CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game

Kearney, Neb. – Tri-City Storm forward Jack Jensen was selected to the 2017 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game, USA Hockey announced Wednesday. The game will be held Sept. 21 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY and splits 42 of the top American-born players into two teams.

Jensen tied for third on Eden Prairie High School’s (MN) hockey team with 38 points (16 goals) in 25 regular season games. The 16-year-old is committed to the University of Minnesota.

Forty of the 42 participants have USHL ties at this season’s game. The Storm picked Jensen in the 4th round of the 2016 USHL Phase I Draft.

The Storm preseason kicks off Sept. 15 vs. Lincoln at 7:35 p.m. After going on the road for a pair of exhibition games, Tri-City is back in Kearney Sept. 23 at 7:35 p.m. for its final home preseason game against Omaha. Tickets are free for season ticket holders and $5 for the general public. They will go on sale at a later date.
