Roth tearing up HPHL with highly-touted Honeybaked U16
Kearney, Neb. – Tri-City Storm affiliate forward Ryan Roth will make his USHL debut Saturday when the Storm faces Team USA on Saturday, January 28 at 6 p.m.
The 16-year-old native of Ladue, Missouri leads Honeybaked U16 with 39 goals and 80 points in 51 games. In a recent HPHL Showcase, Roth and Honeybaked defeated the Chicago Mission, Team Illinois and Omaha AAA.
The Storm highlighted Roth in its November affiliate player update. Roth was the Storm’s fifth-round selection in Phase I of the 2016 USHL Draft. The 5-foot-9, 163-lb. talent committed to St. Lawrence University in December.
In November, Roth scored four goals in an 8-1 victory against Canada’s number-one-ranked London Jr. Knights. Storm forward Wyatt Bongiovanni played for U16 Honeybaked in 2014-15. Ronnie Attard is a former Honeybaked player as well.
