Storm starts post-holiday schedule

Tri-City Storm players return to Kearney on Monday to prepare for back-to-back games December 28-29 against Western Conference foes. Tri-City is at the Lincoln Stars on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. and the Storm hosts conference-leading Sioux City on Thursday.

The Storm plays three games this week, capped off by a New Year’s Eve Showdown vs. Lincoln.

Tri-City split a pair of games with the Dubuque Fighting Saints before the holiday break.

Sitting eighth in the Western Conference with 22 points, the Storm is seven points behind Des Moines and Fargo for fourth in the conference.

The Storm’s next two home games are December 29 vs. Sioux City at 7:05 p.m. for Light the Night: Shining a Light on Child Abuse, presented by Royal Family Kids. The Storm will giveaway glow sticks and check out a free postgame skate after the game.

On New Year’s Eve, the Storm hosts a $1 Coors Light Night against the Lincoln Stars at 5:05 p.m.
